Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery, is when a pigment is applied under the epidermis to create beautifully defined eyebrows. One of our highly trained practitioners will use a fine blade to apply this semi-permanent dye, with small strokes being used to mimic individual hairs. The colour is selected during the initial consultation; we would always recommend starting with a lighter colour, as it can then be darkened during your follow up appointment if you wish. Colours can be formulated to match your existing brow colour so that they will seamlessly blend with the existing hair.

There are 2 appointments required for our microblading treatment. Pigment will be applied during both treatments, which are spaced approximately 5-6 weeks apart. The second appointment is needed to fill in the 10-20% of drawn strokes that will naturally disappear during this time frame. After the follow up, you may notice that the colour appears to be very dark – this is completely normal and as the skin heals, the colour will appear less intense (This usually takes up to 7 days).
After your appointment, a member of our team will talk you through the aftercare essentials and provide you with a leaflet containing all of this information. Aftercare includes cleaning the treated area with a sterile cotton swab to remove all excess dye, avoiding eyebrow makeup for a week prior to the microblading and applying creams that will help the healing process.
Results typically last 1-2 years, however a touch up every 6-12 months is the best way to maintain shape and saturation.
